Your mining seat is active and making TXC for you. The mining payout is directly linked to your Cold Storage Coin, which you have either collected in person, was passed to you, or it is on the way via UPS or USPS.
KEEP THIS COIN SAFE! IF YOU LOSE IT YOUR TXC CANNOT BE RETRIEVED!!!
An easy way to track the value of your TXC is with the TXC Wallet app available on Google Play or the iOS App Store. Download the app, scan the QR code on the back of your TXC Cold Storage Coin and you'll see the balance update real-time.
Step 1 - Download the TXC Wallet app for iOS or Android
At this point, it's REALLY important to make sure you're downloading the real, authentic, made by us TXC Wallet app. Triple-check before proceeding!
Step 2 - Click the "Add now" button
Step 3 - Click the "Import wallet" text under the big red button
This is kinda important. When you're linking your Cold Storage Coin to the TXC Wallet, if you do this wrong, you'll orient yourself on a totally different path. Make sure you click "Import wallet" so that you don't actually CREATE a new wallet...it's not that time yet.
Step 4 - Tap "Scan or import a file" option at the bottom
Once again, important to select the right option here. Be sure to give the app Camera permission to continue.
Step 5 - Scan the QR on the back of your packaged coin
Don't take the coin out of the package. Don't take the sticker off the back of the coin. Leave it in the original condition until you're ready to cash out. The package and coin are both tamper-evident, so the less you mess with it, the safer you'll know it to be.
When you're scanning, put your thumb over the QR code on the package. Otherwise, you'll get an error saying that the wallet can't be found, which will make you worry unnecessarily.
Step 6 - You did it!
Your imported "watch-only" wallet will exclusively show you what's happening on the Cold Storage Coin. You can't SPEND from the coin [yet] - you can simply see the transactions that are going to it. This is exactly what you want. In the app, watch-only wallets are displayed in BLACK and active "hot wallets" are shown in BLUE.
If your app shows a BLUE wallet at this point, you didn't follow Step 3 correctly, and instead the app gave you a whole mess of words that you probably didn't even write down (so important!). Go back and do it again if this is the case.
That's it! Monitor the transactions each day!
