How to Set Up Two-Step Authentication (2FA) for Your TXC Account

Securing your TXC account is crucial to protect your mining earnings and personal information. Two-step authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to ensure that only you can access your account. Follow these simple steps to set it up:

Step 1: Download an Authentication App

To start, download a 2FA app on your smartphone. We recommend:

• Google Authenticator

• LastPass Authenticator

These apps generate time-based codes that you’ll use alongside your password to log in securely.

Step 2: Access 2FA Settings in Your TXC Profile

1. Log in to your TXC account and reset your password if you haven’t already.

2. Go to your profile and click Edit.

3. Scroll down until you find the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section and click on it.

4. A QR code will appear on the screen.

Step 3: Link Your Authentication App

1. Open your chosen authentication app on your phone.

2. Use the app to scan the QR code displayed in your TXC profile.

3. After scanning, click Next on the TXC website.

4. A pop-up will ask for a verification code. Open your authenticator app and enter the current code.

Step 4: Complete Setup

Once you enter the code, your 2FA is successfully activated! From now on, every time you log into your TXC dashboard, you’ll need both your password and a code from your authentication app.
